This video tutorial demonstrates how to add comments to a PDF document using Acrobat Reader. The first step is to download the PDF and open it in Reader, not in a browser. To add a comment, double-click on the item where you want to insert the comment and click "add a note" to type in your comment. Remember to resave the document after making comments by hitting "control S."

To allow commenting in a PDF, open the document in docHub and go to the File Properties Security tab. Then, choose No Security or adjust the security settings to enable commenting.
Reviewers can comment from any device using the docHub Reader mobile app or from any browser, without having to sign in or download software. And multiple reviewers can add comments and annotations in a single shared online PDF for smooth collaboration.
Users can add a note by selecting the piece of text they wish to add a note for and invoking the right-click context menu. Selecting the Add Comment option in the menu will open a text box where users can add their comments. They can type the comment and then click the check mark to save the comment.
Click on the Markup button, located on the left side column. This will open more options on the toolbar. Choose your desired tool and location where you want to insert a comment in PDF. Options include Text comments, sticky notes, text box, or text callout.
Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to the PDF in the browser, or find the file on your computer and select Open with Microsoft Edge. To draw or write freehand, select the pen icon from the toolbar.

Annotate PDFs With a Third-party Extension on Google Chrome Go to the Chrome web store, and choose to add docHub extension to Chrome. Open the PDF file on your Chrome browser. This will automatically bring the Chrome extension into action. Use the annotation options available on the extension.
