okay welcome back guys this week were gonna go over some information about circles theres a few topics that were going to cover and then weve got some problems down here where were gonna actually apply a few of these concepts together so first thing that were gonna talk about with circles is circumference okay so these circumference of a circle its two pi R ok so remember R is the radius okay another letter that we will see is D and thats stands for diameter okay and remember your radius is half the diameter so R is diameter divided by 2 okay or in Reverse the radius is twice the diameter or Im sorry looking the diameter is twice the radius I apologize so the circumference which is the measure around the outside of the circle its kind of like the perimeter of a circle and its 2 times pi times R okay whenever you have these things next to each other then these are being multiplied and remember pi is roughly 3.14 okay so you can kind of use that approximation if youre having
