If the Controls task pane is not visible, click More Controls on the Insert menu, or press ALT+I, C. Under Insert controls, click Check Box. In the Check Box Binding dialog box, select the field in which you want to store the check box value, and then click OK.
Windows does not currently have the feature to temporary mark a folder (tick or star). You can permanently change the icon of the folder but that is all.
To enable or disable the check box function, perform the following steps: Right-click the Windows icon and go to File Explorer View. Enable Item check boxes. Disable Item check boxes to disable the check box.
The checkbox on the icon is a feature in Windows, usually called a checkmark or tick box. With this feature enabled, all icons on the desktop and files folders in File Explorer will have a checkbox. Ticking one checkbox will quickly select or highlight multiple files folders.
In File Explorer, click View Options. Step 2. Move on to the View tab, then scroll down to check Use check boxes to select items. Finally, click the OK button to save your changes.
Tip: If you dont see the Box folder in Finder or File Explorer, Box Drive may not be running. In this case, from your Start menu click the Box icon or search for Box Drive. You can also right-click a file or folder to display additional Box functionality.
Heres how to use the Folder Option to enable the checkboxes: Open the File Explorer, and click the three horizontal dots at the top bar. From the context menu, choose Options. In the Folder Options, switch to the View tab. Check the Use check boxes to select items option. Click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
Insert a check box on a new, blank form template On the form template, place the cursor where you want to insert the control. If the Controls task pane is not visible, click More Controls on the Insert menu, or press ALT+I, C. Under Insert controls, click Check Box.
