hi my name is lauren and im a consultant here at rotiv were an official salesforce partner and we help small businesses automate their processes today im going to show you how to add a chart to a report in salesforce lightning so as you can see here we have our revenue report up but the add chart button has been grayed out this is because we need to group some of these fields together so lets start by grouping opportunity owner this is a good one because then you can see how each individual sales person is doing and then another good grouping for a revenue report would be close date and then from here we could group the close date by month or quarter or year im just going to go with month and now we have some groupings to play around with and then you can see now the add chart button is available so you just click on that and then you can click on the gear icon in the top right to change the properties so you can change it from a bar to a column you can change the x axis and just
