From the Customers menu, select Create Credit Memos/Refunds. From the Customer:Job drop-down, select your customer. Enter the items youre giving a credit for, then select Save Close.
Using a credit card to clear an invoice is a simple and straightforward process. You can log in to the portal of the credit card issuer and enter the credentials of the payee to make the payment. These include card number, pin code, expiration date, and one time pin code in some cases.
Change a customers credit card info in the sales receipt or receive payment window Select + New. Under customers, choose Sales Receipt or Receive Payment. Choose the customer. Select the current card number below Preferred payment method field. Select the + Add link in the upper right.
Its up to you to decide whether or not you want to put bank details on your invoices, and its usually more appropriate to do so if payments are made directly to your bank account. If you expect to be paid with a standing order or one-time bank transfer, you should clearly state this on your invoices.
Process payments for sales receipts Select + New. Select Sales receipt or Make a sale, then fill out the customer info. Add a product or service to sell. From the Payment method dropdown, select Credit Card. Select Enter credit card details. Enter the credit card info or select Swipe Card. Select Save or Use this info.
Set up a credit card payment method From the Lists ▼ menu, select Customer Vendor Profile Lists, then Payment Method List. From the Payment Method ▼ dropdown menu, select New. Enter the Payment Method and Payment Type. Important: The Payment Method should match the Payment Type. Select OK.
The payment details at the bottom of your invoice should include: The total amount due, including any applicable sales tax. The payment due date. Your late payment fees and policy. Any money-back guarantee or service warranties.
How to i put in a credit card credit? Click + New and select Credit card credit. Select a payee and a credit card account from the drop-down. Fill in the necessary information and enter the amount. Click Save and close.
