hi guys this is just a quick tip for anybody whos been having the same problems as me using SD cards on the MacBook Pro even with the write-protect switch all the way to the top which should be read and write when I plug the card into the MacBook Pro it shows up as read-only and Im not able to copy files onto the card or delete files from the card so I found that the best solution is to try and put the switch as close to the middle as you can in between the open and closed position and when youve done that once you plug it back into the Mac it shows up as read and write and now youre able to delete files from the card and copy new files onto the card Ive tried this with various sizes of SD cards and with three different brands and its worked every time sometimes you have to fiddle about a bit to get the right position for the switch it seems to be around the middle perhaps a little bit closer to the top but I hope this helps you if youve been having the same problems as me not
