hi this is mike at monkey pod and in this video im going to show you how to send donation receipts to your donors so first if you have any donations coming in through any of monkeypods online fundraising pages or the embedded donation forms that you can put on your website those donations monkeypod will automatically send a receipt and thank you message to those donors so thats already taken care of if however if you are receiving cash or checks at an event or you have a donation from a previous month or year before you were using monkey pod and you want to log that manually you can do that under transactions you would click on recorded donation you can see that you can record a standard donation non-financial property or donated services we can type in the donors name we can say that blair is going to donate fifty dollars we can select the accounts for which uh this donation is going to be recorded into we can assign a soft credit a class tag it so we can record the payment method
