Depending on the type of background youre working with, you can set up different effects. There are tons of ways you can play around with them. Lets explore how to apply these to your sites through some examples. Well work on this site where weve already set up a few sections and backgrounds. In preview mode, youll notice the backgrounds are static by default. Lets hit Edit to start adding some effects. This top section has a gradient background. We set that up using the design tab over here. To start adding a background scroll effect, well select the section and click this icon. Select the picture that you want to remove the background from. On the toolbar, select Picture Format > Remove Background, or Format > Remove Background. If you don't see Remove Background, make sure you have selected a picture.
To begin, do one of the following: Select Format > Page from the menu bar. On the Page Setup dialog box, choose the Background tab. Make sure the Presentation Styles icon is selected in the Styles and Formatting window, right-click Background and select Modify from the pop-up menu.
From the main menu, choose File > Templates > Organize. The Template Management window opens. In the box on the left, double-click the folder containing the template that you want to set as the default. Click the template that you want to set as the default.
Background Select one or more slides in your presentation (in Normal View) Open the Page Setup Dialog. Click on the Background tab, select a background type (color, gradient, or bitmap) and change settings. A pop-up message asks if you want to change the background on all slides.
Remove a background Go to Page Layout > Page Color. Select No Color.
Select Format > Page from the menu bar. On the Page Setup dialog box, choose the Background tab. Make sure the Presentation Styles icon is selected in the Styles and Formatting window, right-click Background and select Modify from the pop-up menu. This opens the Background dialog box.
If you want to apply a different style, you can either right-click on the style in the status bar and select a new stype from the pop-up menu, or you can open the Styles and Formatting window, select the page style icon at the top of the window (fourth icon), and then double click on the desired style.
LibreOffice's icon theme is set in Tools > Options > View, under the heading 'Icon Size and Style'. The drop down list will contain the available list of icon sets accessible to LibreOffice.
