okay so here is this app called id me idm authenticator so basically its a multi-factor authentication system solution to protect your account from different hackers and basically there is a bunch of apps in this category some of them are like google authenticator or some similar apps but basically yeah this is the app in that category when you want some extra protection on some of your accounts you just this id me app authenticator and then you can use that to generate these codes and only if you have that code you will be able to login so for people who dont know this concept of two-factor authentication so the idea is usually you just create an account with your email and password but what happens is someone knows your password and then yeah its not good thing for you but with this multi-factor authentication basically not only your password is required but also specific uh real-time code from this app and this code is generated for like few seconds or something and only

To generate a new QR code, click Add sign-in method and select Authenticator app from the list of options. Youll then be told that you need to the app, which is fine because its already on the device. Click Next to start the setup process and click Next again to see a new QR code for the app (Figure 2).
On your Android device, go to your Google Account. At the top, tap Security. Under Signing in to Google, tap 2-Step Verification. You may need to sign in. Under Available second steps, find Authenticator app and tap Change Phone. Follow the on-screen steps.
Check Network Connection Make sure you have the required network bars on your phone. If required, you can temporarily enable the airplane mode and disable it to reset network connectivity on the phone. Once you do the airplane mode trick, ask Instagram to send the verification code again.
You need to the Google Authenticator app on your smart phone or tablet devices. It generates a six-digit number, which changes every 30 seconds. With the app, you dont have to wait a few seconds to receive a text message.
If you lost your backup codes, you can revoke them and get new ones. Go to the 2-Step Verification section of your Google Account. Select Show codes. Select Get new codes.
To receive a one-time-passcode on your cellphone via text message, click Send Code Check your cellphone. You should have received a text message like the image below with a 6-digit verification code: Enter the 6-digit code received via text message on the Extranet login site Click Verify Code.
On your Android device, go to your Google Account. At the top, tap Security. Under Signing in to Google, tap 2-Step Verification. You may need to sign in. Under Available second steps, find Authenticator app and tap Change Phone. Follow the on-screen steps.
If you dont receive a security code, tap I cant access this email or phone number below Send security code, then follow the on-screen instructions. Be sure to enter a secure email address that only you can access. Once youve submitted your request, you should receive an email from Instagram with next steps.
To get a list of backup codes for your account: Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile. Tap at the top. Tap Privacy and Security. Scroll down to Two-Factor Authentication, then tap Edit Two-Factor Authentication Setting. Tap Get Backup Codes.
From your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch Go to Settings [your name]. Tap Password Security Get Verification Code.
