Each raster dataset in a raster catalog can have its own attribute table. The method of storage is simple and easy to manage; however, you could end up with many tables in the database, some of which may be identical (for example, if raster datasets in the catalog have the same attributes).
To add a raster attribute table in ArcGIS Desktop 10.1 and above: In ArcMap or ArcCatalog, click ArcToolbox > Data Management Tools > Raster > Raster Dataset > Copy Raster. In the Copy Raster window, Pixel Type (optional) drop-down, select the 32_BIT_SIGNED integer.
Note that the raster must have a single band and the pixel values must be integer type (not float or double) to have an attribute table.
Viewing a raster attribute table Click the raster dataset in the Catalog tree. Click the Preview tab. Click the Preview drop-down arrow (on the bottom of the window) and click Table.
