Adding Attributes to Records Select the Attributes tab. Select in the Attribute type drop-down. In the grid, select the appropriate Attribute type, Description, Date, and Comments. Click Save and Close.
Use a constituent code to track how a constituent relates to your organization. Use an attribute to track miscellaneous information about the constituent that doesnt fit anywhere else.
Through Search and Display View find the domain class that does not need attributes. Select the class in the grid. From Model Operations View select the Manage Attributes operation. From the Settings section, select the Remove Attribute option.
Procedure In the Database Information application, on the List tab, select the object to which you want to add an attribute. On the Attributes tab, click New Row. Select attribute details from the list of available attributes. Save your changes.
To create a new attribute: Right click on any of the existing attributes and select Insert Row or scroll down to the bottom of the attributes and place the cursor in the first empty field under Description. In the Data Type column, select the appropriate data type.
Adding attributes From the Classifications application, click the Classifications tab. Select theAdd/Modify Properties Attributes action. Add a row in the Attributes area, and specify the information for the new attribute. Repeat this process for each attribute that you want to add, and click OK.
Procedure In the Database Information application, on the List tab, select the object to which you want to add an attribute. On the Attributes tab, click New Row. Select attribute details from the list of available attributes. Save your changes.
To edit attribute table entries, click Tables in Configuration. Select the table, highlight the table entry to edit, and click Open. Make the changes and save the changes.
In Configuration, click Attributes. Click the gray square to the left of the appropriate attribute. Press Delete on the keyboard. Click Yes when prompted to delete it.
Attributes are customized fields in The Raisers Edge 7 that allow you to track additional information about a constituent, gift, membership (if RE:Member is present), or event (if RE:Event is present). Create the appropriate attribute types in Configuration based on your needs.
