in this final tutorial will show you how to add attributes to your shape files in our case were going to look at the the roads that weve created and under transportation we want to add attributes to give the the names of those roads in there so I will right click on open attribute table thats where the table is located this is going to show you all the features that are currently listed under the attribute table and so we have all these are polylines its going to give you what type of shape it is so its either polyline polygon or point and its going to give you the idea and we want to add some more columns in here now notice that you can go in here and I can select any of these lines here and this will help me reference which one is important now first thing I need to do when Im adding in attributes is I need to go adding a new column for attributes is I want to make sure that were currently not editing so make sure that youre not editing well go back into that attribute tab

The Spring Model is an interface in Spring that is used to add attributes to the model. It provides several methods to handle the data from controller to view.
Attributes are customized fields in The Raisers Edge 7 that allow you to track additional information about a constituent, gift, membership (if RE:Member is present), or event (if RE:Event is present). Create the appropriate attribute types in Configuration based on your needs.
Procedure In the Database Information application, on the List tab, select the object to which you want to add an attribute. On the Attributes tab, click New Row. Select attribute details from the list of available attributes. Save your changes.
Adding Attributes to Records Select the Attributes tab. Select in the Attribute type drop-down. In the grid, select the appropriate Attribute type, Description, Date, and Comments. Click Save and Close.
The Record Attributes show the known, unfiltered attributes for each record that is displayed in the Record Grid. The attribute types are listed along the left side of the Attribute column under the Record Attribute banner. Each additional column header contains the records Source ID.
To create a new attribute: Right click on any of the existing attributes and select Insert Row or scroll down to the bottom of the attributes and place the cursor in the first empty field under Description. In the Data Type column, select the appropriate data type.
Use a constituent code to track how a constituent relates to your organization. Use an attribute to track miscellaneous information about the constituent that doesnt fit anywhere else.
Adding Attributes to Records Select the Attributes tab. Select in the Attribute type drop-down. In the grid, select the appropriate Attribute type, Description, Date, and Comments. Click Save and Close.
