[Music] hi this is dr emily from facultyworkshop.com and in this video im going to show you how to create fill in the blanks very easily on google docs using a add-on so i have a sample document over here lets call this a pop quiz and what id like to do is i would like to go ahead and create some blanks in the places of some of these words and im going to use the help of an add-on called close it so were gonna go to add-ons manage add-ons and were gonna type close it thats the add-on and were going to click on click continue select your account allow click on done all right we can go ahead and exit this and what we want to do at this point is click on add-ons click on close it and start and youve got a couple of options over here you can either highlight the words that you want to convert into blanks or you can underline them you also have the option of selecting a word and having the first letter appear to be a hint for the students i prefer not to do that i do want
