Got questions?

Below are some common questions from our customers that may provide you with the answer you're looking for. If you can't find an answer to your question, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

As a general rule, you can expect to receive between 50 and 100 photos per hour of shooting time. But theres no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. Of course, this depends on various factors such as the type of shoot, how many people are involved, and what you want to achieve.
A skilled photographer should be able to concisely tell the story of your day in roughly 300-600 images, give or take. We received 600 edited photos, and we paid for 6 hours of coverage with one photographer (plus her assistant who took some extra photos during the ceremony, but definitely not a second shooter).
Photographers Arrival to the ceremony: At least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. Allow time for your photographer to set up at the church and capture the ceremony location, guests arriving and other details.
So there you have it! We photographers may not give all photos or RAW photos, but thats just because we want to ensure you get the most memorable, beautifully finished images from your big day. Remember, we are on your team!
Broadly speaking, wedding photographers typically deliver 50-100 photos for every hour of coverage they provide.
Some photographers work 40 hours a week( and up to 60-80+ hours a week during busy season), while some full time photographers are only working 30 hours a month(me). How many hours you work all depends on how important that work life balance is to you and your long term goals for your photography business.
So the best way to deal with organizing the images is to break them into smaller categories and then work with one folder at a time. We recommend doing this in the same order the wedding took place. Going by the folders chronologically ensures you do not miss out on any special photography moments.
To give you an idea, the average number of pictures delivered by a wedding photographer for one hour is between 50 up to 100 wedding photos. Most of the time I will deliver 800 to 1000 digital files for 12-hour reportage. For a 12-hour coverage, on a big day, I can distribute 1200 to 1400 pics.
