Spell-check your document Open the Google Docs app . Open a document. Tap Edit . In the top right, tap More. Spellcheck. Spelling suggestions will show at the bottom: To use a suggested spelling, tap Change. To ignore a suggestion, tap Ignore. To hide Spellcheck, tap Close .
Tap the user list under Who has access (optional). This will open a list of all the people with access to the document. You can tap the icon drop-down next to a user here, and select Editor to grant them the ability to make edits.
Accept or reject all suggestions On your computer, open a document at docs.google.com. Click Tools. Review suggested edits. A box will appear in the top right. To preview what your document will look like with or without the changes, click the Down arrow. and choose an option. Click Accept all or Reject all.
Press either the tab key or the right arrow key to accept the suggestion. The suggested text will then become part of your document, and you can continue typing.
Click on the Editing dropdown menu at the top. Choose the Viewing option. This locks the entire document, preventing any edits.
To edit a document: On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change. Start editing. To undo or redo an action, at the top, click Undo. or Redo. .
To accept a Smart Compose suggestion: Press the tab key. Press the right-arrow key. For Android or iOS: Swipe right over the suggested text.
In Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, when an approval is in process, a banner will show at the top of the file. To approve the file, click Approve. You can also add an optional note. To reject the file, click Reject.
