To view the list of fonts available for InDesign, do one of the following: Go to Character panel (Ctrl + T) Font Family drop-down. Go to Control panel Font Family drop-down. Go to Properties panel Font Family drop-down.
To change font type purely with HTML, use the CSS font-family property. Set it to the value you want and place it inside a style attribute. Then add this style attribute to an HTML element, like a paragraph, heading, button, or span tag. This approach to changing font type in HTML uses the style language CSS.
It may be that the font in question isnt in your InDesign Font Folder for some reason. This is a common problem to run into if InDesign doesnt recognize fonts. You can manually drop font files in here to be able to use them instantly in your InDesign documents.
You can do a complete Find and Replace for files in the InDesign file. At any time, you can open this dialog box by choosing Type Find Font to check on the status of your fonts. Within this dialog, you can view the fonts in the document in a scrolling list.
You can even replace a font thats part of a text style. Select Type Find/Replace Font. Select one or more font names from the Fonts In Document list. Find font within a text box. Select the Font Family and Font Style in the Replace With section. Select Change, Change All, or Change/Find. Select Done.
A font is a set of characters that uses the same typeface. Explanation: It refers to the visual design of the text. Fonts can convey different tones or moods.
