okay were at control point ki 4 dbk listening on 40 meters cw with the narrow filter settings let me mute this a second and um on the hf this is the kenwood ts850 s well this time ive got a yamaha studio monitor because even with headphones where i could finally hear my side tone after turning it up on the radio the side tone was extremely muted at least on this particular rig and uh with my sony headphones i could hear it relatively loudly but i was having trouble with rf getting into them at one point over here ive got just the ic5100 split screen dual vfo d star on that side and ive got two meters of 440 various memories on that side and the ft ft 2800m 2 meter rig its always been a reliable radio its passively cooled with that big heat sink in the back 60 watts on high so lets go back to 40 meters and see if we can [Applause] try out the um filter settings as well as the pass band or slope tune function on the uh [Applause] kenwood which was really the secret of i didnt rea
