How to mask a texture in docHub Photoshop Step 1: Frame it. Choose the Frame tool and draw a rectangle over the blue portion of the B. Step 2: Give it texture. Open the library you created earlier (Window Libraries) and drag the Brush 1 texture to the selected frame. Step 3: Edit the texture. Step 4: Make a custom frame.
Its a simple drag-and-drop process. The Move tool is the only Photoshop tool that can be used even when its not selected in the tool bar. Just hold down CTRL on a PC or COMMAND on a Mac, and youll instantly activate the Move tool no matter which tool is currently active.
Go to Edit Paste. Photoshop will paste the texture into the document and will place it on its own layer above the photo.
Launch Photoshop. Click the paint bucket icon on the Tools pane. Click the Foreground drop-down menu on the toolbar. Click the small drop-down arrow on the pattern preview window, then click the small right-pointing arrow in a circle icon. Select Load Patterns to open the Load window.
To import the texture image onto your Photoshop workspace, simply drag the image file into the workspace with your existing image. Then, arrange this texture image so that it spans the length and width of the workspace.
You can use the Photoshop painting and adjustment tools to edit the textures contained in a 3D file, or to create new textures. Textures are imported as 2D files with the 3D model. They appear as entries in the Layers panel, nested under the 3D layer, and grouped by map type: Diffuse, Bump, Glossiness, and so on.
With the texture layer selected, press the Image tab and then click on Adjustments Levels. Then, move the input sliders until the texture is more visible on your image.
