Style ToolTipDataPointStyle = new Style(typeof(LineDataPoint)); //Template ControlTemplate template = new ControlTemplate(typeof(LineDataPoint)); FrameworkElementFactory gridElement = new FrameworkElementFactory(typeof(Border)); gridElement.Name=Grid; gridElement. SetValue(Grid. NameProperty, Root); gridElement.
The most common way to declare a style is as a resource in the Resources section in a XAML file. Because styles are resources, they obey the same scoping rules that apply to all resources. Put simply, where you declare a style affects where the style can be applied.
Style ToolTipDataPointStyle = new Style(typeof(LineDataPoint)); //Template ControlTemplate template = new ControlTemplate(typeof(LineDataPoint)); FrameworkElementFactory gridElement = new FrameworkElementFactory(typeof(Border)); gridElement.Name=Grid; gridElement. SetValue(Grid. NameProperty, Root); gridElement.
You can change the default appearance by setting properties, such as FontSize and FontFamily, on each TextBlock element directly. However, if you want your TextBlock elements to share some properties, you can create a Style in the Resources section of your XAML file, as shown here.
There are several ways that styles in WPF can be extended or inherited. Styles can be based on other styles through this property.
Override the default Style in WPF If you want to replace the default style of a control you can define a typed style. A typed style only has an implicit key. The key is the Type object of the TargetType. All controls beneath the definition will inherit the style automatically.
Two Ways To Use Style On Controls In WPF Application Step 1 - Create a project named WpfTestApplication of WPF application. Step 2 - Its a better approach to create the folder named css in the project to store the style files. Step 3 - Add a Resource Dictionary named MyStyle. xaml in the css folder.
When you inherit a style from an existing style, the settings from a parent style are available in the inherited style. To inherit a style from another style, we set the BasedOn property to StaticResource Markup Extension as the style it is being inherited from.
