The key to the smoothness is the GIF frame delay time. Most computer displays run at 60fps (frames per second), so the best frame rates for smooth animation are 60fps and 30fps, or even 15fps if the motion is slow and youre trying to create the smallest file possible.
A higher dithering percentage creates the appearance of more colors and more detail in an image, but can also increase the file size. For optimal compression, use the lowest percentage of dither that provides the color detail you require. Images with primarily solid colors may work well with no dither.
When you save the file as GIF with dithering, it can make your GIF more natural. GIF file format has a 256-colors limit, so when you make a GIF file from a true-color image, it can be perceived that the quality gets lower because of color reduction. In order to minimize this problem, we provide the dithering option.
GIFs are suitable for sharp-edged line art with a limited number of colors, such as logos. This takes advantage of the formats lossless compression, which favors flat areas of uniform color with well defined edges. They can also be used to store low-color sprite data for games.
Method 2:Add an image as a watermark to a GIF: Photoshop Open your logo and GIF files. Then, select the last frame layer(Layer 20). Turn the logo into a new layer. Navigate to the logo file and drag and drop the logo to the GIF. Add an Image as a Watermark to a GIF: Photoshop. Resize the logo.
Open an image or watermark in Photoshop and copy its layer. Then drag and drop this image layer to the GIFs tab. The image or watermark should already be on the top of the GIF. Next, use Ctrl +T to scale it and place it in the proper place on the GIF.
Use a GIF editor to put a picture on a GIF. A great tool to use is Kapwing, the online video, image, and GIF editor. Using Kapwing, you can add a picture to a GIF on any device, including the iPhone, Android, MacOS, Windows PC, and many more. Simply upload your GIF or picture and drag and drop the picture onto the GIF.
GIF files boast a feature called lossless compression. This means their image quality doesnt decline when their data gets compressed.
