guys this is mayodine in this video I will show you how to upgrade or downgrade your AWS ec2 instance without losing any of your data so letamp;#39;s get started so as you can see I have an instance running C1 dot media now I will show you how to upgrade it to C1 dot x large so first of all let me show you that I am running nginx on this instance so now let me go to that instance so as you can see nginx is successfully running on this instance now let me close that tab okay so first of all letamp;#39;s stop that instance to change its type okay now letamp;#39;s wait for a couple of seconds for the instance to be stopped okay guys so our instance has now been successfully stopped now select that instance go to actions instant settings change instance type so where we will change the SS type to C1 dot x large so which means we are upgrading the instance so now letamp;#39;s click on apply okay guys so as you can see our changes has been successfully applied now it is showing C1 dot x
