How do I upload my handwritten signature on a Mac? Go to Finder - Applications - Preview app and open the app. In the menu bar, click Tools - Annotate - Signature - Manage Signatures. A new window will open. Your Signature will be created. Next, open a PDF document. Take a screenshot of your signature.
Choose a signature. If an expected signature isnt in the Signature pop-up menu, or the menu isnt showing, choose Mail Settings, click Signatures, then verify the signature has been added to the correct email account.
Create a signature using your trackpad: Click Trackpad, click the text as prompted, sign your name on the trackpad using your finger, press any key, then click Done.
Find your mail signature file If youre using iCloud, go to ~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~mail/Data/MailData/Signatures/ If not using iCloud, head to ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures/ or ~/Library/Mail/V3/MailData/Signatures/ if you are using El Capitan already.
Open the PDF in Preview, click the show markup toolbar icon, then select the signature icon. Create and save your signature using your trackpad, webcam, or iPhone/iPad. Sign your name on the trackpad using your finger, or use a force touch trackpad for a thicker stroke.

To edit a signature for an account, click the account in the left column, then click a signature in the middle column. When All Signatures is selected, you can add an existing signature to another account by dragging the signature from the middle column to the account in the left column.
