all right welcome back YouTube fans Iamp;#39;m gonna call this one my trick-or-treat segment well for you guys that actually have a old-school small-block Chevy youamp;#39;ll know what Iamp;#39;m talking about the difference between a long and short water pump well really the difference is to me what size the alternator winds up on usually with a short water pump the alternator will wind up on the driveramp;#39;s side with long water pump usually lines up on the passenger side and the aftermarket industry kind of goes with that but if you actually have a short water pump and have an issue with putting your alternator either lower down on the driveramp;#39;s side or up top on the driveramp;#39;s side they make tons brackets for that but not the early tell this is a short order pump but it is a short water pump and I had to put my alternator on the passenger side now they do make a handful of brackets to do this the one that I thought would work was about a hundred and eighty bucks
