What its going to do for us is create a default sheet and in there a default table. Lets backup a bit. A Numbers file is simply called a Document. Its the same for most things on the Mac. A Pages document. A Keynote document. And you have a Numbers document. If youre used to using Microsoft Excel then a file is also called a document but its also commonly called a Workbook. Procedure: Right-click on an Excel File (. xlsx, . xls, . csv, etc) Click on Get Info in the pop-up. Click Open With if the section isnt already expanded. Click the dropdown and choose Microsoft Excel. Click Change All Click Continue when the Finder asks you if youre sure.
Click File Print. Under Settings, click One page per sheet, and then choose Multiple pages per sheet in the list. Click Print.
Create a spreadsheet To open Numbers, click the Numbers icon in the Dock, Launchpad, or the Applications folder. In the template chooser, browse templates by category or click All Templates, then double-click a template to open it. Do any of the following:
Print a sheet on one page On the Page Layout tab, select Page Setup. Under Scaling, select Fit to, and type 1 in both the page(s) wide box and page(s) tall box. Select OK.
