How to edit . RPT files and create new ones. Depending on which type of RPT file you wish to create and/or edit, youll need either the SAP Crystal Reports software or AccountEdge Pro software.
Click on Report, Select Expert, Show Formula, Formula Editor. Enter an alternate TRUE condition to display all records for that parameter (see examples below) Click Save Close.
Note: If you fail to open RPT files with Crystal Reports or AccountEdge Pro, it is likely that it is still not a text file and wont work with a text editor. To access the text-based RPT files on Windows 10, you can utilize any text editor, like the Notepad program built-in to Windows.
You may want to use a repeated group header. To do this open the Change Group Options dialog (right click on a group header, then choose Change Group ). On the Options tab check Repeat Group Header On Each Page . Put your headers for your detail section in a group header (maybe an additional one just for this purpose).
Crystal Reports Paging: Set (Limit) Number of Records per page Open Crystal Reports in Design View and right click on the Details Section and then select Section Expert option from the context menu. Inside the Section Expert Dialog, select Paging Tab and then check the New Page Before CheckBox.
