Dot Records was an American record label founded by Randy Wood and Gene Nobles that was active between 1950 and 1978. The original headquarters of Dot Records were in Gallatin, Tennessee. In its early years, Dot specialized in artists from Tennessee.
How far back can the DOT check ELD logs? Depending on the type of document, DOT requires records to be anywhere from 12 months to three years.
Guidance: A motor carrier must retain ELD RODS data and supporting documents for six months. For more information, see 49 CFR 395.8(k)(1). Additionally, a back-up copy of ELD records must be maintained on a device separate from that where original data was stored for six months.
Both the Driver Qualification and Safety Performance History Files must be retained for as long as the safety-sensitive individual is employed by the company, and for three years thereafter.
Guidance: A motor carrier must retain drivers records of duty status (RODS) and supporting documents for six months.
