hello this is the FTM 500 transceiver itamp;#39;s a great mobile transceiver a great little base station transceiver UHF VHF and uh true dual receive in it as well and it has a few clever tricks that makes it very easy to operate so letamp;#39;s show you some of that first thing weamp;#39;re going to do obviously is switch it on there and you notice my call sign came up there underneath the yau logo and actually thatamp;#39;s the first thing that happens if you get this out of the box and switch on for the very first time it gives you the option to input your call sign why well because if you want to use it on the digital mode if you want to use C4 FM if itamp;#39;s not got a call sign put into it it wonamp;#39;t let you on there because the whole point of that is you canamp;#39;t turn up unannounced on digital because it always shows your call sign on the other personamp;#39;s radio so you just go into the uh function list and you go into 121 and there we go up comes y
