PPI and DPI are different the first is for digital, the second is for print. 72 pixels per inch is the standard for online use, typically allowing for a smooth loading time and a good quality visual. 300 dots per inch meanwhile is the standard for high-quality print images.
Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac) on the selected layer and choose Relink to File from the context menu. In the Relink to File dialog box that appears, navigate to the location of the file that you want to relink to the layer. Select the file and click Open.
To define a variable in Photoshop, target the layer and select Image Variables Define. In the Variables dialog box, choose the desired layer, select the variable type and enter names for the variables.
Open a picture in Photoshop. Click the Image menu and choose Image Size. Choose pixels/inch from the Resolution drop-down menu if it is not already displayed by default. The number in the Resolution box is the DPI of the photo.
To fix a link, first select a link. Then click Edit, and edit or remove the hyperlink. To fix a TOC item, index keyword, or image map, first select the item. Then click Edit, and select a valid destination to repair the broken link.
To relink one linked object without affecting any of the others: Right-click the linked layer, select Convert to Smart Object. Right-click the smart object, select Edit Contents. Right-click the linked layer, select Relink to File, and link it to your desired file.
To merge these layers, you can press Ctrl+E (Cmd+E for Mac) or right-click (Control+click for Mac) on the selected layers and click Merge Layers. The layers are merged into one.
You can click the 3 dots below the deleted asset and select Restore. Photoshop will relink multiple instances of the graphic within a single document, but youll need to relink it again in other documents.
