in contrast XML has no native way of dealing with images there are various ways that people have tried to get around this for example they will create an empty element give it a dimension and CSS and then give it a background image to kind of recreate the experience of having an image element that sort of puts a box on the screen with a picture in it this is kind of an odd way to do things to have something that you consider to be page content your image to be part of the styling and xml purists are up in arms about that sometimes the text is altered in a way so that the image code is actually put into some kind of text elements in a way that when it's interpreted by the browser it actually spits out the image on-screen there's some Microsoft Office formats that do it this way and the disadvantage there is that if it's a complex image the file size becomes gigantic in a hurry so is there a way that it's supposed to happen there's a way that you can make it happen you need to put a lot...

To use an image as a button in HTML, we use: A tag. Inside the tag, we use the tag with the link of the source image inside the src attribute of the image tag.
To show image by XML, we need to add ImageView tag in our layout in XML. ImageView tag has the attribute android:src which will refer image kept in res/drawable directory. To show image programmatically, instantiate ImageView in Activity class and assign image by setImageResource() and add it to layout by LinearLayout.
To add an image to a button Select the button. In the Properties tab, click the Image property, and click the ellipsis button. In the Image dialog box: Select the button, and set the following properties in the Properties tab: Set other field properties as needed. Right-click the form, and select Save.
Open the template descriptor file associated with your publishing template and add the element in the section and set the @file attribute value to the path of your logo. If you also want to add a link to your website when you click the logo image, set its URL in the @target-url attribute.
Use app:drawableTint=@color/yourColor in the xml instade android:drawableTint=@color/yourColor .
You shouldnt use XML to store images. Rather save them on a server and store the path to the images in XML.
In XML is very easy to change tint color by just setting up the attribute android:tint= in the ImageView tag, as shown in the following example.
Use a android:scaleType=fitCenter to have Android scale the images, and android:adjustViewBounds=true to have them adjust their bounds due to scaling. All of these attributes can be set in code on each ImageButton at runtime. However, it is much easier to set and preview in xml in my opinion.
android:layoutwidth=300dp android:id=@+id/image android:layoutmarginLeft=40dp android:layoutmarginTop=80dpxml used in this project is: CompressImage Settings Image Compressor
Use a android:scaleType=fitCenter to have Android scale the images, and android:adjustViewBounds=true to have them adjust their bounds due to scaling. All of these attributes can be set in code on each ImageButton at runtime.
