How do I turn off this behavior??? SOLVED: It has to be turned off in Mac OS. From docHubner Settings / Corrections, hit System Text Preferences. Then, hit Edit and turn off Add period with double space.
The double-space period feature in macOS can be turned off if preferred. Users can easily find the toggle option within the Macs System Preferences. Disabling this feature allows for manual control over period insertion while typing.
Go to System Settings Keyboard click Edit for Input Sources then toggle the Add period with double-space feature off. Theres a similar setting in Keyboard Preferences of earlier versions of the OS. AI: Artificial Intelligence or Automated Idiocy??? Few tools work well if you dont learn to use them.
Choose File Page Setup. Click the Paper Size pop-up menu, then choose Manage Custom Sizes. Double-click the new untitled name in the list, then type a name for your custom size. Type the width and height of the paper in the Width and Height fields.
