SMS A recovery code is sent to a specified mobile phone to reset their password. To enable this feature in the IAM Cloud portal select Features Self Service Password Reset and select the option By SMS. This options asks users to answer some pre- answered security questions to reset their password.
Enter the email address you used when you registered for your online account, and click the send button; you will receive an email shortly. Open the forgot password email, and click the reset password button. Enter your new password and confirm password.
AMI Home. In order to reset your password, you must verify your username and email address. After verification, you will receive an email with your new password.
Reset passwords on managed nodes (online method) Open the Systems Manager console. In the left hand navigation pane, choose Fleet Manager. Select the node that needs a new password. In the Instance actions menu, choose Reset password. For User name, enter the name of the user for which youre changing the password.
For a Debian AMI, the user name is admin. For a Fedora AMI, the user name is ec2-user or fedora. For a RHEL AMI, the user name is ec2-user or root. For a SUSE AMI, the user name is ec2-user or root.
To reset your password to the AWS access portal Open a web browser and go to the sign-in page for your AWS access portal. Enter your Username, and then choose Next. Under Password, choose Forgot password. A message appears to confirm that a reset password email was sent.
Reset Your Password Go to Password assistance. When prompted, enter the email address or mobile phone number associated with your Amazon account and select Continue. Enter the OTP you received and select Continue. Create a new password.
To change your password Open your WorkSpaces client. On the client login screen, choose Forgot Password? under the Sign In button. Enter your user name, and then enter the characters you see in the image. Choose Recover Password. You will receive an email with a password-reset link.
