Contact us
On the Review tab, go to Changes. Select Accept or Reject. As you accept or reject changes, Word will move to the next change.
Use footnotes and endnotes to explain, comment on, or provide references to something in a document. Usually, footnotes appear at the bottom of the page, while endnotes come at the end of the document or section.
In the References tab, find the Citations Bibliography section and click on the Insert Citation option. When the drop-down menu appears, click on Add New Placeholder. When the Placeholder Name dialog box opens, type the name you want to give to your placeholder into the text box.
Go to the Insert tab and click on the Symbol button. In the dialog box, select the dot symbol. Once youve chosen, click Insert.
Insert a comment Select the text you want to comment on, or click at the end of the text. On the Review tab, click New Comment. Type your comment. Word shows your comment in a balloon in the documents margin.
Click Fill With Placeholder Text in the Quick Actions section of the Properties panel. You may have to scroll to locate it. You can also add placeholder text to threaded, or linked, frames.
Use the Signature Line command to insert a signature line with an X by it to show where to sign a document. Click where you want the line. Select Insert Signature Line. Select Microsoft Office Signature Line. In the Signature Setup box, you can type a name in the Suggested signer box. Select OK.
Design Mode in the Controls group. Select the content control where you want to revise the placeholder instructional text. Edit the placeholder text and format it any way you want.
