You can see the cursor blinking in that. Lets say we want to setup specific margins. First to actually see what the margins are set to you want to go to the Sidebar here. Go to Document. Then in the document area of the Sidebar you can find Document Margins. You can see here they are set to one inch all the way around, top, bottom, left, right. Now if you actually want to see the margins on the page we can. We can actually do that one of two ways. The first way is to go to View and lets Show Ruler. This will show the ruler here at the top of the page. Im going to zoom out a little bit to 75%.

Word for Mac OS X From the Word menu, select Preferences. Select View. In the section titled Nonprinting characters, check or uncheck the appropriate boxes to view the marks of your choice. Check All to see all formatting marks. To save your changes, click OK.
Show or hide formatting marks Do one of the following: Show invisibles: Select View Show Invisibles (from the View menu at the top of your screen). Note: The View button in the toolbar doesnt have this command. Hide invisibles: Select View Hide Invisibles.
You can delete everything in a cell, including its contents, formatting, and styling, or delete the content but preserve the cells data format, text style, and cell style. Select the cells you want to clear.
Choose Edit Track Changes (from the Edit menu at the top of your computer screen). A review toolbar appears at the top of the page.
Show or hide tab marks in Word Go to File Options Display. Under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the check box for each formatting mark that you always want to display regardless if the Show/Hide. button is turned on or off. Clear any check boxes for ones you dont want always displayed.
Keep a paragraph on one page Right-click the paragraph that you want to keep together. In the box that opens, select Paragraph. In the Paragraph dialog box, click the Line and Page Breaks tab. In the Pagination section, select the Keep lines together check box, and click OK.
Remove a formatting break Click to the right of the formatting mark, then press Delete on your keyboard.
