how to create the perfect wedding timeline lets go well hello lovely humans welcome back to my channel if youre new here hey my name is jamie im a wedding planner and today we are launching something that has been months in the making and i cannot wait to share it with you guys and i am doing a giveaway with this so be sure to stay tuned till the very end to hear all those details but before we get into that haha anticipation right lets talk about why a wedding day timeline is one of the most important documents you can create for your wedding day first and foremost it is a central document that everyone can refer to your caterer your photographer your maid of honor everyone can look at this central document and know when theyre supposed to be in each location now as a wedding planner there is no such thing as too much detail in a timeline you just you can just cram it all in there right because i would rather be drowning in information than running around at the very last minute

Though nothing is truly necessary at a wedding other than the marrying couple, uplighting is, more often than not, a good idea.
For interior applications, uplighting reduces ceiling dark spots and shadows while affording the user additional, glare-free indirect lighting. Uplighting serves the architectural lighting design of the space by highlighting details such as beams, pipes and other distinctive ceiling traits.
Without the proper lighting, your photos may be dark; your guests wont be able to see their food or find their way to the dance floor. Sure! Its an extra expense, but without the proper wedding lighting, the romance and whimsy of your extra special event may be lost.
One of the questions we get asked during the wedding planning process from a photography perspective is: Should we really do uplighting in the reception space? GREAT QUESTION and on that we like weighing in on. The short answer is YES you should definitely do uplighting!
For most weddings, I recommend starting your ceremony 1.5-2 hours before sunset. That way, the majority of your outdoor photos will be taken during the best lighting of the day! This time is especially important for outdoor ceremonies. Its important that your photographer play a big role in setting your timeline.

White is the most popular color for wedding lights because it is bright and clean. Its perfect for creating a beautiful and elegant atmosphere without overwhelming the space. Black or Darkness can create a dramatic effect in your wedding lighting.
If youve decided not to do a first look, you need to pick a ceremony time with enough light left to do all of your formal pictures (wedding party, family, and couples portraits) before the sun sets. I typically recommend starting your ceremony no later than two hours before sunset.
