hey everyone this is Dr. Tiv welcome to one of my videos now today lets go through taking impressions now pressures are one of those things that if you do it well your patients would love you and if you do it badly theyre gonna absolutely hate you now you might have seen my video on how to do a 10 second poster if you havent seen the link up there but lets go ahead and do some impression techniques so Im going to take standard stock trays and use those for today so we might have to adapt these depending on how they fit we have our lovely patient dip hes going to be helping us out today as well lets try these out so one of the questions we usually have is whether we sit the patients up or live them back when you take compression now sitting them up is better for the patient but its harder for us to see what were doing so I like to keep the patient supine if I can have them laying back now somewhere you might be asking what if they gag is if they gag as you really dont want to

DITA stands for Darwin Information Typing Architecture or Document Information Typing Architecture. DITA is an XML data model for component-based authoring and publishing. It is an open standard that is maintained by the OASIS DITA Technical Committee. DITA is commonly used among technical documentation teams.
DITA makes your content readable and concise. Writers can focus on individual tasks or concepts, while readers can read the topic that they need instead of a whole manual.
DITA defined It is based on the idea of building information types for specific representation of structured content from a common initial topic. Like any structured architecture, it is based on a set of rules referenced in a DTD or a schema. The key information types include topic, concept, reference, and task.

A DITA CMS is a system that enables the creation, organization, and deployment of DITA content. DITA stands for Darwin Information-Typing Architecture and its an open-standard specifically designed for publishing technical documentation. A CMS stands for Content Management System.
DITA remains a common approach in tech comm. Some say that the DITA spec was always brilliant, but the tool support from the vendors never really transformed the content in impressive enough ways to compel people to adopt it.
DITA XML can be daunting, especially for newcomers from authoring environments like MS Word. The fundamentals of good technical writing, however, are embodied in the DITA standard. Once you wrap your head around a few simple concepts, it is not as hard as it first may seem.
