[Music] hey guys its Alice again so today I am joining you for the very first freelance Friday video if you didnt catch last weeks update Im actually doing any little series on this channel called freelance Fridays and Im basically covering a bunch of topics to do with freelance work whether it be invoicing speaking to hires finding clients making money anything I can think of and anything you guys request Im going to cover it so if you arent already subscribed please make sure you do were going to do this for as long as I have a topic to talk about so I hope youre going to enjoy it and lets get straight into it so for this weeks as you can tell from the title is all about invoicing Im going to talk you through a pretty boring topic but something that you dont get taught about in schools I wish you did so I actually have compiled a list of the things that I kind of go through and the things Ive learned when invoicing clients now I actually have put this list onto my blog

Select Content. Then select a different section (header, table, or footer) on the sample form to customize it.
The invoice preview updates as you make changes. You can customise what you want your customers to see by adding or removing information. You can also update the text fields to edit what displays. Select the Form numbers checkbox to have QuickBooks add invoice numbers to your form.
Design Edit or add a logo and customize by selecting fonts and colors. Content Update company info, change labels, and adjust width. Emails Draft or revise your invoicing email template.
What information needs to be on a self-employed invoice template? A unique invoice number. Your businesss name, address, and contact details. Your customers name and address. The invoice date. A clear breakdown of the products or services you are charging for. The amount(s) of each product or service. The total amount due.
To manage your custom templates: Select Settings ⚙ and then Custom form styles. Find your custom or standard template. Select Edit in the Action column. Make any edits. Then select Done.
Web Open the Invoice. From the Edit tab, click on Add photos. Select the photo to upload. Once uploaded, click on the photo. Add a title and a description. Click on Save. Click on Save and close.
Under the Design tab, you can change the colors, font style, and logo. In the Content tab, you can add or remove fields and customize your invoices wording. In the Emails tab, you can change your invoice online delivery options. Click Done to save your changes.
