Click Insert tab, select Picture from the toolbar. Click on the image to activate Picture Tools tab. Under Format, click Crop in Size group. Select Fit to Shape in the drop down menu.
Insert your picture, then right-click it to choose Size and Position to bring up the Layout dialog. In the Size tab, adjust the height and width to fit. Hint: use the scale scroller to increase the size so the full picture is larger than the page dimensions while maintaining the aspect ratio.
When Im in the Picture Format tab and click the arrow in the bottom right corner of the Size section, under the Size tab in the box it gives options for how to resize the height and width of a picture.
