In todays video, Im going to show you how you can add a header and footer to your worksheets. For example, lets say you want to add in your company logo to the header of each printed page, or you want to add in page numbers to the footer of your printed pages or to your pdf documents and also how you can tweak the logo or the picture to make sure it fits properly inside your header. One question I get often is how to apply the same header that you take the time and you create it for one of the tabs, so how can you apply that to other tabs at the same time? This is a sample spreadsheet that I have open. I have a few tabs here Im currently in tap T2. Lets see, for this one, I wouldnt add in a header. Now there are different places you can do this. One option is to do it from page layout so you can go here and under page setup, you have this little icon here, just click on this. Then you just go to header and footer, and right here you can add in a custom header or you can add in a

On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Header Footer. Excel displays the worksheet in Page Layout view. To add or edit a header or footer, click the left, center, or right header or footer text box at the top or the bottom of the worksheet page (under Header, or above Footer). Type the new header or footer text.
Click on the Page Styles button at the top of the window. Now double-click the First Page style. This applies the First Page style to your first page. Click somewhere on page 2.
To do that, go to menu Format Styles and Formatting (F11). To the top of the window choose the page styles icon. Right click and create a new page style. That new page style will be different from any other page style of other sheets and thats why you can have different header/footer for that sheet.
To add a header to a page, choose Insert - Header and Footer - Header, and then select the page style for the current page from the submenu. To add a footer to a page, choose Insert - Header and Footer - Footer, and then select the page style for the current page from the submenu.
Edit your existing headers and footers Double-click the header or footer you want to edit, or select Header or Footer, and then select Edit Header or Edit Footer. Add or change text for the header or footer or do any of the following: When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
On the toolbar, right-click in the toolbar and choose Customize Toolbar. Choose View Toolbars Customize from the menu bar.
