hello Im dr. be several curricula have actually been implemented and evaluated multiple times and theyve been implemented in different ways and therefore we can learn some from those multiple studies of the same curriculum what changes can you make or not make and still have the program be effective one thing weve learned very clearly is that if you take a program and cut out a large portion of it you are very likely to reduce its effectiveness the first time that one program was implemented it had a large impact upon several behaviors and then it was cut in half that is half of these sessions were deleted half of the activities were deleted and then it had no impact on any behavior it may be possible to pair things a little bit to cut out maybe five or ten percent but if you cut out half then probably the program will no longer be effective its also clear that if you cut out activities that focus on a particular behavior then the program is not likely to have an impact upon behavi

Q-Chat Genetic adaptation: genetic/non-physiological. Acclimation/Acclimatization: Physiological. Developmental Acclimation: Physiological. Cultural and behavioral adaptation: Physiological.
Adaptation is the evolutionary process whereby an organism becomes better able to live in its habitat or habitats. 2. Adaptedness is the state of being adapted: the degree to which an organism is able to live and reproduce in a given set of habitats.
An adaptation is when you transfer a literary source (e.g. a novel) to another medium such as film, stage play, or video game. These new versions can either be: Complete retellings but in a new setting. Or, draw aspects/characters from the original story.
Examples include the long necks of giraffes for feeding in the tops of trees, the streamlined bodies of aquatic fish and mammals, the light bones of flying birds and mammals, and the long daggerlike canine teeth of carnivores.
Summary. General adaptation syndrome (GAS) describes the process your body goes through when you are exposed to any kind of stress, positive or negative. It has three stages: alarm, resistance, and exhaustion.
Eight common steps were: 1) assess community or population of interest, 2) understand the original EBI(s), 3) select an EBI, 4) decide what needs to be adapted, 5) adapt the original program, 5) test the adapted materials, 6) implement the invention, and 7) evaluate (Table 2).
We find that adaptations are fixed in a defined and reproducible order: first reduction of lag phase, and then an increase of the exponential growth rate. A population genetics theory explains this order, and suggests growth conditions in which the order of adaptations is reversed.
The general adaptation syndrome (GAS) was first proposed by Hans Selye in his classic 1936 letter to the editor of Nature. The GAS consisted of three phases: (i) the alarm phase, (ii) the phase of adaptation, and (iii) the phase of exhaustion.
