okay so first of all select everything and go to insert and insert a line chart then select all of the numbers and ctrl c to copy and ctrl v to paste then right click and change the font color to red then delete the first date and select all of the rest of the black dates and drag them upwards then delete the last black number and select all of the red numbers and drag them upwards then select the line on the line chart and drag the ranges down until they cover the red numbers and now you have your step chart you can also right click on one of the dates and change the sort to oldest to newest and this will change the dates so that they are ordered the same way as they are plotted in the chart okay and that is everything
