In this video, Iamp;#39;ll teach you a magic trick based on this pattern Youamp;#39;ll need a credit card, a debit card, or an ATM card that has 16 digits. Youamp;#39;ll also want a pencil and paper to do simple calculations. For this video, Iamp;#39;m going to do the calculation for the number thatamp;#39;s written on the screen, but you should follow along with your credit card number. To get started, focus on the sixteen digits in the number, and separate them into two groups. For the first step, add up every other digit. In this case, the digits which are colored in black. Weamp;#39;ll add up 1, 3, 5, 7 ,8, 0, 0, 0, to get to a sum of 24. The card verification number is printed on the card. This number is referred to as the Card Verification Number, Card Verification Value, Card Verification Code (CVV), CVV2, Personal Security Code or Security Code. The number is not embossed on the card and not printed on receipts.
Besides your physical card, you can usually find your card number on billing statements and in your profile online or in your banks mobile app. Your credit card account number by itself usually isnt available for you to view. This helps protect your information.
Go to your banks website or open the mobile app on your phone. Log in with your username and password, or create an account if you dont have one yet. Once youre logged in, find the section that shows your account details or card information.

The last 4 digits of your virtual card are different from your physical card. To find the virtual card number, refer to the receipt from the merchant or go to your card issuer website.
The main difference between a virtual card and a physical card is that a virtual card is a randomly generated card linked to your credit card account but has no corresponding physical card. Virtual card numbers work much like your physical card number but may deliver added security and convenience when online shopping.
Your CVV is the three-digit number available on the back side of your debit card. If youre using a Virtual Debit Card (for 811 customers only), youll need to click on the debit card image to flip and see the three-digit CVV number.
On your iPad Open the Settings App. Scroll down and tap Wallet Apple Pay. Tap Apple Card, then tap the Info tab. Tap Card Information, then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to see your virtual card number.
