Changing the background color of one or more cells is a great way to add visual clarity and structure to your table. To change a cells background color with (X)HTML: Within the desired tag, type bgcolor= color, where color is either a name or a hex color (see page 126 and inside back cover).
The tag is used to display an image in XHTML MP. This is the same as in HTML. WAP browsers will display the text assigned to the alt attribute of the tag if it cannot display the image for reasons such as file not found or image format not supported.
Inserting images Images are inserted using the img element. The most common formats for images are GIF, JPEG, and PNG. The src attribute specifies the images location on either the local file system or the Web, and the alt attribute specifies a text string that should be displayed if the browser cannot load the image.
The most common simple way to add background image is using the background image attribute inside the tag. The background attribute which we specified in the tag is not supported in HTML5. Using CSS properties, we can also add background image in a webpage.
Fill the Entire Viewport with the background-size Property It is possible to set the CSS background-size property to cover. Using this value, the browser will automatically and proportionally scale the background images width and height so that they are either equal to or greater than the view ports width and height.
Add or change a background image or watermark Go to Design or Layout, and select Watermark. Select Picture Select Picture, browse through your image files, and choose the image that you want to use. Select Insert. If you want the background image to show with full color intensity, clear the Washout check box.
To fix the position of a background image, use the CSS background-attachment property. HTML fixed background code is generated by applying the CSS background-attachment property against an HTML element.
To change a cells background color with (X)HTML: Within the desired tag, type bgcolor= color, where color is either a name or a hex color (see page 126 and inside back cover).
