The global admin can use the following steps to disable multi-factor authentication for an account: Go to Office 365 Admin Center Users Active users Click More next to +Add a user Multifactor Authentication setup. Check an accountclick Disable under quick steps on the right.
Go to Microsoft Entra ID Security Authentication methods Settings. Under System-preferred multifactor authentication settings, select from Enable to Disable options.
The answer is very straight forward. You can disable MFA on single basis through: Go to Microsoft 365 admin center - Users - Active users - Select the user - Manage multifactor authentication - Select the user - Disable multi-factor authentication.
Turn two-step verification on or off Sign in to your Microsoft account Advanced security options. Under Additional security and Two-step verification choose Turn on or Turn off.
