How to attach a ZIP file to an email. First you want to compose your email by filling out the recipient line and subject. Now to attach your zip file, click the paper clip on the bottom that says attach files. Here you may choose the ZIP file that youd like to attach to your email. Youll know the file has been uploaded once the file name turns blue. When youre ready, click send. Now were gonna go through this same process once more, but now attach a larger ZIP file. As you can see here, my ZIP file is 34.9 megabytes. Because the file is larger than 25 megabytes it will tell you that it needs to be sent as a Google Drive link. And thats how you attach a ZIP file to your email.

Locate the file or folder that you want to zip. Press and hold (or right-click) the file or folder, select (or point to) Send to, and then select Compressed (zipped) folder. A new zipped folder with the same name is created in the same location.
How to Open a ZIP File on Windows 10 Locate the ZIP file you want to open. Right-click on the ZIP file and select Extract All Once you select Extract All, you will get a new pop-up menu. In the pop-up menu, select a location to extract the files. Once youve selected a destination folder, click OK.

Add your jpg images to a folder, then right click on the folder and select Send to Compressed (zipped) folder. You will end up with both the original and a zipped copy. Add your jpg images to a file, then CTRL-click on the file and select Create Archive. You will also find the option in the File menu.
How to Email a ZIP File Compose your email message as normal. From your hard drive, select the ZIP file. At the bottom of your composition window, youll see the name of your ZIP file. Your recipient will see the ZIP file as a normal attachment.
Right-click on the file or folder. Select Compressed (zipped) folder. To place multiple files into a zip folder, select all of the files while hitting the Ctrl button. Then, right-click on one of the files, move your cursor over the Send to option and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
Some e-mail providers may not allow you to send ZIP files for reasons such as security concerns or incapability with ZIP files. Your recipient may not be able to open or extract ZIP files from their e-mail provider. Ask if they have a different e-mail that you could contact them with.
