XML documents are formed as element trees. An XML tree starts at a root element and branches from the root to child elements. The terms parent, child, and sibling are used to describe the relationships between elements. Parents have children.
XML: Extensible Markup Language. A standard for building markup languages. XML application: A markup language created with XML. XML declaration: The processing instruction that identifies a document as an XML document and contains the version attribute and the optional standalone and encoding attributes.
XML files are hierarchical, meaning they store data in parent-child relationships within their tags. For example, a tag may be used to indicate the parent element while a child tag holds additional information about the parent. This allows data to be organized in an efficient way that is easy to read and interpret.
xml is the unattended answer file which is applied during the deployment process to provide the information you would be otherwise required to enter manually when installing an OS. By providing the answers in a XML file beforehand and applying it to the deployment process you eliminate the need to enter them manually.
The first step is to open the XML Metadata to add the fields that will next be used in the Mappings to sort data. For this simply add as many sortKey Property Fields as required under the node that you want to sort. The sort keys are applied in the order they are defined in the Metadata.
Procedure Create an XML file that follows the wcs. Define a store entity in the STOREENT table, for example: Create a store address in the STADDRESS table. Create a description for the store entity in the STOREENTDS table. Create a store entity by adding information to the STORE table.
Configure the location of the XML source data and the schema that you want to use. Use the Sort step to sort the items in the list in ascending or descending order. Configure the XML Composer step to compose the sort step output into a XML file.
In XML, an element can have many or no children. Element A is the child of element B when: Element A is contained within element B and is exactly one level below element B.
