Access the AIS Section: Log into the income tax e-filing portal at .incometax.gov.in. Navigate to the Services tab and select Annual Information Statement (AIS).
Step 1: Login to URL . Step 2: After login, click e-File menu. Step 3: Click on Income Tax Return View AIS. Step 4: Click on Proceed button which will redirect to AIS portal and click on AIS tile to view the Annual Information Statement.
To access AIS, taxpayers need to log into their e-filing account on the income tax portal using their username (PAN or Aadhaar) and password. Once logged in, they can navigate to the AIS portal to view their statement. AIS can be downloaded in PDF, JSON, and CSV file formats.
Annual Information Statement (AIS) is a much more detailed statement. It includes savings account interest, purchase and sale transactions of securities/immovable properties, foreign remittances, interest on deposits, etc. All the information is available in aggregate form as well as individual transaction wise.
How to View and Download Form 26AS? Step 1: Visit official Income Tax e-filing website. Step 2: Click on Login and Enter the User ID which can be either PAN or Aadhar number and click on Continue. Step 3: Now, Select e-file. Step 4: Then, click on View Form 26AS and Select Confirm next.
