DocHub and Adobe Export PDF Accessibility Statement comparison FAQ

Make PDFs accessible (Acrobat Pro) Choose Tools Action Wizard. The Action Wizard toolset is displayed in the secondary toolbar. From the Actions List, click Make Accessible. Select the files that you want to apply the Make Accessible action to. Click Start. Follow the prompts to complete the Make Accessible action.
How are accessible PDFs different? The fundamental difference between an accessible and inaccessible PDF file is that one can be accessed, viewed, and interacted with by everybody, including people with disabilities. The other one cannot.
In the secondary toolbar, click Full Check/Accessibility Check. The Accessibility Checker Options dialog box is displayed. In the Report Options section, select options for how you want to view the results. You can save the results as an HTML file on your system, or attach the results file to the document itself.
Before generating your PDF, run the Accessibility Checker to make sure your document is easy for people of all abilities to access and edit. Select the File tab, and then select Save As. In the Save As dialog box, select the arrow in the Save as type list, and then select PDF.
Choose Object Object Export Options. Select the Alt Text tab in the Object Export Options dialog box. Choose Custom from the Alt Text Source menu. Enter the description in the text field, and click Done.
When you allow Content copying for accessibility feature, this allows reading aloud the text (hearing the text) by the pdf reader software. When you disable this feature, the text can not be heard. On the other hand, when you allow Content copying feature, this allows copying text to be pasted in other location.
From the File menu, select Save As and choose PDF from the options provided. By default, this produces a PDF that preserves the document structure and assures accessibility.
