The Exposure slider targets the midtones and is often the best starting point to adjust overall tonality. Move the slider to the left to darken and to the right to lighten an image. We perceive contrast in photographs through the degree of separation between light and dark tones.
To bring out detail and texture, drag the Clarity slider to the right. To soften an image, drag the slider to the left.
