welcome to this getting started video for redline I just wanted to make a quick video to show you how to kind of get off to the races quickly with redline as soon as you get it installed a few of the settings that you might want to look at updating and really just a brief overview on how the user interface works alright so letamp;#39;s get started so if youamp;#39;re using red line for PDM when youamp;#39;re inside PDM all you need to do is go and click on any SolidWorks file this can be a part assembly or a drawing and simply go up and select the view file option and this is basically going to open up the e drawings preview of the SolidWorks file that you are viewing within the vault alright so we have e drawings that opens up to to preview our nice file here this gear or whatever it is here so this is great and we notice as soon as we preview any file in PDM redline will automatically detect that and we see it actually pops up alongside a drawing this is fully automatic itamp;#39
