Vendor or provider are the words used to describe the community of professionals who provide Direct Services to people with developmental disabilities through contracts with Californiaamp;#39;s network of 21 community-based nonprofit Regional Centers. Before Providers can provide and be reimbursed for services, theymust go through an approval and Contractingprocess with their local Regional Center. The Vendorization approval process requires Regional centers to verify, prior to theprovision of services to individuals, that a
